About
Harper Clinical
Smarter Tools for Frontline Healthcare Providers
Our Story
Harper Clinical was founded by Dr. Donna Aucoin, a medical psychologist with over two decades of experience, in response to a growing challenge: behavioral health concerns are increasingly identified in primary care and pediatric settings, yet providers often have only 10–20 minutes to evaluate concerns that need far more time and information to understand.
Combining AI with clinical expertise, Harper extends the behavioral health interview beyond the office visit — helping providers gather a more complete picture of every patients’ needs and empowering professionals to work with greater confidence, accuracy, and focus on what matters most.
Our Mission
At Harper Clinical, our mission is simple: To improve behavioral health insight for patients and providers across healthcare settings.
From specialized mental health professionals to rural primary care providers, Harper provides innovative tools that help them recognize behavioral health concerns earlier, gather better information, and connect patients to the right care sooner, while keeping empathy at the core of every interaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Harper handle different types of evaluations?
Harper tailors its interview and summary to the setting — from a primary care or pediatric visit where a provider needs a fuller behavioral health picture, to specialty contexts such as psychological evaluation, ADHD/learning concerns, intake, and ongoing care.
In all cases Harper functions as a decision-support tool: it helps providers gather information and identify when further evaluation, treatment, monitoring, or referral may be warranted. It does not diagnose.
Is Harper HIPAA-compliant?
All interactions are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant platform – Microsoft Azure
